Blessed Is He Who Slakes His Coffee-Thirst From This

If the notorious PP Coffee Mug were at the Last Supper, Our Lord would have passed this around instead of the Holy Grail.

Those who suggest that the image of the PP Coffee Mug looks like a ham-handed attempt to impose text on an otherwise plain white mug using a Windows XP paint program are merely infidels and renegades out to destroy your faith!

It should be noted again that when you use the PP Coffee Mug in public [in all its radiant glory], you are indicating to the world that you have discriminating taste in weblogs.

I like the SHAPE of your mug, but for sheer artistry, there's no beating the "pecadillo" mug featured at "I Drank What?" You might find out where he gets his mugs designed and fired. I just ordered a full set of 6 Pecadillo mugs, and a move to plain black text would seem like a downgrade. Sorry, PP.

I'd like to hope that there's room in the world for both mugs. Sure, his mug his more attractive and reflects more care taken. And his mug may hold more coffee. And it may be lined with an outer plastic layer so you can hold the mug without burning your hands.

But the PP mug has a simple charm going for it. It's there for you and it cares. I believe the Pecadillo mug is just in it for itself. And, beware the slick glossy mugs --- all style, no substance.

So, as for me and my house, we will stick with the PP mug!

I'll also add that his blog simply looks better. But there is something about an austere minimal-template blog with a black background and green font for thread titles....such a blog really just completes me.
